Polymoog Wall Art Poster - Moog Synth Patent 1977 (Vintage Analog Synthesizer)

$23.00

The Moog Polymoog, produced from 1975 to 1980, was one of the first fully polyphonic analog synthesizers, using a divide down architecture and preset based design. Covered by U.S. Patent US4050343A, it introduced novel voltage controlled filtering and modulation techniques. Its distinctive "Vox Humana" preset - famously featured by Gary Numan in his 1979 hit Cars - delivered lush, choir-like textures that became a hallmark of early synth pop. Though limited in programmability, the Polymoog's rich pads, touch sensitive keyboard, and unique filter bank secured its place in electronic music history.
